FRAME:

•  Frame shall be made of galvanized steel pipe schedule 40.

•  All schedule 40 galvanized pipe and Gator Shield frames are guaranteed for 48 months against structural failure. This guarantee protects you against damage to frames under normal conditions. However, it does not cover damage from Acts of God, malicious mischief, neglect, misuse, or abuse.

•  All pipes diameter to be nominal diameter as per AISC manual table 1-93.

•  All pipes welded around to develop full tensile strength as per AWS specifications.

•  All welds to be clean grinded smooth, prime with anti-rust prime, painted with anti­rust aluminum paint or optional paint when specified.

FABRIC:

•  Fabric. is waterproof and flame retardant.

•  Fabric shall be made for easy removal.

•  Fabric shall be laced to frame using 1/8 Neo/Line rope through #2 Spur Grommets not more than 6"' - 9" apart and attached to track when mounted to wall.

•  All body seams will be electronically heat-sealed. All comers will be reinforced with double layer of material to prevent tears.

•  Awning cover will be laced to an inside pipe with rope and grommets so as to lock it in place. Lacing hem will have a double fabric, stitching hem with 2 1/8 reinforcement rope. Thread to be used will be Anti-wick V-l38 Dabon, 16 oz.

•  Wind design per ASCE 7-93. Open building exposure "C".

•  Cover shall be removed when winds exceed 75 mph.

•  Fabric warranty may vary on manufacturer.

•  Retractable awnings should be retracted when winds exceed 30 m.p.h.
